Barbara

Barbara was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas, and is a 1987 graduate of Lufkin High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2003. Barbara has been a valued member of the Deaton Law Firm since 2002, where she plays many vital roles and is instrumental in ensuring the firm operates smoothly and efficiently.



Outside of work, Barbara is a proud wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoys spending time outdoors, as well as working with her hands through carpentry and sewing. She enjoys using her creativity to build custom children’s toys and play palaces for her grandchildren—there’s truly nothing she can’t build.
